Freenas

In freenas, you create a 'volume' rather than a pool. However, if you have many disks, you need to create vdevs first. Here's how

When creating shares, for trusted clients, set the mapui and groupid to root and wheel, and make sure to disable nfsv4 in the services -> nfs section. Otherwise your client permissions will not work as intended.
