Remote Help

There are two ways to do this
  • Remote Assistance Request
  • Net Meeting
Remote assistance is the newer program, and is more powerfull, but requires a file to be exhcanged and Firewalls can get in the way. To launch it on a box where the user can't successfully navigate to Start->All Programs->Remote Assistance
%SYSTEMROOT%system32rcimlby.exe -LaunchRA

Net Meeting is the older analog. It allows you to make direct calls to each other based on IP and bypass firewalls in most instances. You can share your desktop and function in a similar way to remote assistance. Start->Run "conf"
