Fedora

Although I was sure Ubuntu was the love of my life, it's pretty clear that at work it's all RedHat all the time. So, I've switched to RH. For home use, now it's Fedora. Here's some tips

To install Google chrome

su -c "touch /etc/yum.repos.d/google.repo"
su -c "vi /etc/yum.repos.d/google.repo"

And to that file add

[google64]
name=Google - x86_64
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/rpm/stable/x86_64
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub
