Ending A Connector's Operation Early

Sometimes you want to do a sanity check when using a lookup connector. Conventionally, you would use an IF flow control element to make sure data met what you're expecting. If you feel like that's making your assembly line too ugly, you can also hide the checks in the before execute hook, and terminate the connector at that point.

This is *probably* better than using skipTo statements.

if ( work.MD_OUID == null || work.MD_OUID.getValue() == null || work.MD_OUID.getValue().equals("") ) {
task.logmsg("No OUID. Assuming new Empl");
//system.skipTo("StuEmpl_Record");
thisConnector.connector.terminate();
}
